Student Placements and Volunteers
Interested in volunteering?
We run an in-house volunteering course annually. The course usually lasts 4–5 weeks and covers key areas such as the expectations of being a volunteer, safeguarding, and equality and diversity.
After completing the training, all successful volunteers are required to:
-
Undertake a DBS check before starting their placement.
-
Provide two suitable references.
Details about the different volunteering opportunities available will be explained in more depth during the training.
Once you have volunteered for a minimum of 3–6 months, we can provide a reference to support your future applications.
