Natural Thinkers
Forest school is an outdoor, free and stimulating learning experience. It allows children to be independent, challenge themselves, build self-esteem, develop new skills and connect with nature.
Children will be selected in groups of 6 to attend weekly Forest School sessions.

Our children enjoy daily access to our beautiful garden, creating endless opportunities for outdoor exploration and discovery. This unique environment allows children to engage with nature firsthand, fostering curiosity, creativity, and independence. Alongside forest adventures, the children also care for our nursery bunnies, learning responsibility and developing a deeper understanding of life cycles and animal care. Through these experiences, they build problem-solving skills, teamwork, and resilience, while forming a strong connection to the natural world. Our commitment to outdoor learning ensures that every day is an adventure, supporting holistic growth and well-being for all children.
We also embrace the importance of risky play as part of learning and development. Children have the opportunity to climb trees, use the rope ladder, and challenge themselves in a safe, supervised environment. These activities help build confidence, physical strength, and risk assessment skills, empowering children to explore their limits while staying safe.
In our Green Room, children experience Natural Thinkers through a wide range of outdoor activities tailored to our youngest learners. These experiences are especially meaningful, offering children under three the chance to explore, experiment, and build a relationship with the world around them. From creating journey sticks and painting with mud to designing simple nature collages, our Natural Thinkers-inspired provision nurtures creativity, sensory exploration, and a lifelong love of nature.
